LewVac offer a range of fibre optic feedthroughs, available in various fibre types and sizes and mounted on a selection of common flange types. Custom assemblies can be made to your specification.

Multimode fibres (HV & UHV applications)

LewVac multimode step index fibre feedthroughs, manufactured from high purity synthetic silica with doped silica cladding and a Cubal jacket. Standard available fibre diameters are; 400µm, 600µm and 1000µm diameter. All connections are via industry standard SMA-905 connectors. Fibres are offered in the following transmission ranges:

· UV (180—1200nm)

· IR (500-2600nm)

Single mode fibres (HV applications)

LewVac single mode fibre feedthroughs are manufactured from high purity synthetic silica with acrylate cladding and a Cubal jacket. Standard fibres are available for 1300-1550nm and 800-900nm wavelengths. All connections are via industry standard FC connectors.

Our ranges of feedthroughs are complemented by our range of in vacuum and airside cables and cable couplers.
